Royal George Hotel – Hotel near airport in Birmingham

The hotel was onto a residential street but ended up providing the requested double room after some hassle. The service was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, despite a flustered start. The location was brilliant for being close to Birmingham city center and the festival we were attending, but not ideal for sitting in. The dining experience was good, with excellent staff, and the facilities were of good quality. Price was fair, considering the overall experience.

The big bed was incredibly comfortable, but there were some cleanliness issues like a cracked sink and a blockage in the sink. The location is convenient with easy access to the city center and a welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with a mix of great breakfast and some discrepancies in pricing. The facilities were decent, although there were some concerns about dampness in the basement dining area.
